Last week Weider exhibited at FIBO Cologne, the biggest venue for Fitness and Body building in Europe and we are very satisfied with the overwhelming positive feedback from consumers. We had the most ashtonishing consumer booth with great participation from our athletes and a very professional business booth were we had the chance to introduce our great brand new products to the European market.
Coinciding with Weider Global Nutrition 80th Anniversary, Eric Weider, our Chairman, presented “The Power of Innovation” Among other interesting topics he talked about trends:
“Functional food can offer us a lot here. Functional food is based on every day products that anyone would recognize from the supermarket, remodeled within an optimized compound of macro- and/or micro-nutrients. Effectively, what we’re talking about is food tuning. Or as we call it, “Better for you” nutrition. We have to make it easy to integrate nutrition into their daily lives.”
